Effective date: May 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Tap Conductor mobile application (the "Application"), provided by Chris Allick (the "Service Provider"), handles your information. By installing or using the Application, you agree to the practices described here.
The Application is designed to run entirely on your device. The short version: Tap Conductor does not collect, transmit, or store personal data about you.
The Application does not collect personally identifiable information. There is no account system, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter, and no telemetry. The Application does not make outbound network requests for the purpose of sending your data to the Service Provider or any third party.
Some features of the Application work with information that stays on your device:
PHPickerViewController, which is an out-of-process picker provided by iOS. The picker returns only the single image you explicitly choose. The Application displays that image on screen for the duration of the session and does not copy, upload, share, or persist it. The Application does not request blanket access to your photo library. The Application does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, cloud-storage, or social-media services.
The Application relies on standard iOS frameworks (such as UIKit and PhotoKit) and is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect information about app downloads and crashes as described in Apple's own privacy policies; that processing is governed by Apple's terms, not by this policy.
The Application is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the Application does not collect personal information from any user, no child-specific data handling is required.
Because the Application does not collect or transmit personal information, there is no Service-Provider-side data store that could be breached. Information used by the Application remains in the volatile memory of your device for the active session only. You are responsible for the security of your device and any operating-system-level controls (passcode, biometric unlock, etc.).
Many privacy laws (including the GDPR and CCPA) provide rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held by a service. Because the Service Provider does not collect or store any personal information about you, there is no Service-Provider-held data to access, correct, or delete. You can remove the Application from your device at any time using standard iOS controls.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted to this page, and the "Effective date" above will be revised. Material changes will also be reflected in the Application's release notes. Continued use of the Application after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy can be sent to the Service Provider at emailsbychris@gmail.com.
